Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for subscribing to ezyAuto. We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with our services. This policy details our terms regarding subscription cancellations and refunds in accordance with Razorpay's merchant guidelines and applicable Indian laws.

1. Subscription and Billing

Our Service is offered on a subscription basis with recurring billing cycles (monthly or annually, as selected during purchase). All subscriptions are billed in advance and will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, our authorized payment gateway partner. By subscribing to our service, you acknowledge and agree to Razorpay's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. We comply with RBI guidelines for digital payments and maintain PCI DSS compliance standards.

2. Cancellation Policy

Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard under "Subscription Settings" or by contacting our support team at support@ezyauto.in. Cancellation requests are processed within 24-48 hours during business days.

Service Continuity: Upon cancellation, you will retain access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period. No additional charges will be applied for subsequent billing cycles once cancellation is processed.

Data Export: Before your subscription expires, you can export your data through the account dashboard. We recommend downloading your data within 30 days of cancellation.

3. Refund Policy

General Policy: In accordance with digital service industry standards and Razorpay merchant guidelines, all subscription payments are generally non-refundable once processed. This policy applies to all subscription tiers, add-on services, and one-time purchases.

Refund Eligibility - Limited Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Payment Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts due to system glitches in our payment processing or Razorpay gateway.
  • Service Failure: Continuous service unavailability exceeding 72 hours due to server issues on our end (excludes scheduled maintenance, user connectivity issues, or force majeure events).
  • Unauthorized Transactions: Fraudulent transactions reported within 48 hours with proper documentation and police complaint (if applicable).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Cases where refund is mandated by RBI guidelines or consumer protection laws.

Refund Process

Claim Period: All refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the transaction date.

Documentation Required: Transaction ID, payment confirmation, detailed explanation, and supporting evidence (screenshots, error logs, etc.).

Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days through Razorpay. The amount will be credited to the original payment method.

Partial Refunds: We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused portions of subscription periods.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with service features
  • Subscription plan downgrades or upgrades
  • Unused features or limited service usage
  • Account suspension due to terms violation
  • Technical issues on user's end (internet connectivity, device compatibility)
  • Third-party service integrations or dependencies

5. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Pre-Dispute Resolution: Before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or Razorpay, you must first contact our support team at support@ezyauto.in for resolution attempts.

Chargeback Consequences: Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension, service termination, and reporting to relevant authorities. We reserve the right to dispute illegitimate chargebacks.

Dispute Resolution: We follow Razorpay's dispute resolution process and provide necessary transaction documentation to financial institutions when required.

6. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sangli, Maharashtra, India.

7. Policy Updates

ezyAuto reserves the right to modify this policy at any time in compliance with regulatory requirements. Significant changes will be communicated via email and in-app notifications at least 15 days before implementation. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
